Now, you want to find people with similar interests and knowledge to help you with your hobby. It’s time to join a car club. But why join? Why pay twenty-five dollars to belong to the Stewie Cruisers?There are all kinds of reasons to do so. But the big question is what makes it worth money. First of all, you will meet a lot of cool people who share the same interest. You will discover people who have expertise in the hobby and can offer insightful help in making the owning of a classic car more of joy and less of a hassle. They will willingly share information from car care to car storage, from solutions to mechanical problems to innovative ideas for car restoration, from great places to cruise to upcoming must attend local events. The list goes on and on. This alone is worth the price.Second, you are part of club that wants to give back to the community in many ways. It feels great to help and make a difference.Third, you have chance to participate in the many things that make the club work. You can volunteer to work on a newsletter, manage or help with the club Web site, run the yearly car show, help with the weekly cruise in, plan social events or even join the steering committee. Selectively volunteering in your areas of interest and expertise is what makes the club successful. It’s difficult to spell “Success” without “You.”Four, you receive discounts at local merchants. And you get to enjoy an end of the season that is worth more than the annual membership fee. So jump in with both feet! Get involved! Be part of the fun and the action that makes Stewie Cruisers so cool. You won’t be disappointed. I became part of the steering committee right after I joined the club. Getting involved at this level is the best thing that I did. Is it worth twenty-five dollars to join? Yes! In fact, it doesn’t cost, it pays to be a member. Join us now. Get involved.
